Liars showcase their haunting film soundtrack with three chilling music videos

Liars last month released a trilogy of music videos that showcase just how creepy and haunting they can make an original soundtrack. Whilst the band have released eight albums, 1-1 is their first attempt of a soundtrack. It’s heavily electronic but that electronica is often playing around with distorting organic instruments and when coupled with Liars’ dismembered vocals, it makes for something sinister and siren-like – particularly with the track “Helsingor Lane” which is the stand out for me of the trio of tracks in the playlist below. The film 1-1 and the soundtrack are both out now and they follow 20-year-old Lisa who struggles with sex, drugs, love, loss and judging from the music videos a huge money burning smoking habit!
