Sunny, shiny indie-pop-rock to brighten your day with happy hooks but sad and reflective lyrics, VALLEY return from their 2016 EP “This Room Is White” which something that has bit more dance to it but still retains all the happy-sad eyes the previous EP had. The quartet’s new single “Closer to the Picture” see’s VALLEY making their major label debut and with an album in the works, this is a new band you’ll want to get on the bandwagon with early. Preferably with a drink in your hand to dance the night away with.
The music video for “Closer to the Picture” reminds me of all the party scenes from late 90’s/early 2000 teen movies so you can play spot the cultural reference whilst singing along. The singles out now.
