Mystic Peach are a rock trio from the South Coast of the UK and they take what’s best of psyche-rock and then condenses it down into manageable, more accessible and mainstream sounding formats with catchy riffs that rock. Having recently been on BBC Introducing (and now ours – so clearly they are going places) Mystic Peach interestingly don’t place their main guitars down as their driving force but actually the way the bass and drums align together to create a groove for the guitars and vocals to hang off of. It’s not often a way I hear a band describe their music but I can see why they say it. The vocals are suitably androgynous too which adds to their sound.

Mystic Peach are currently on tour in the UK and release their new single “Across The Pond” tomorrow. It’s damn good and you can hear it below and follow the links to buy it and see where they are playing next.
