Britpop grungers VIOLET hail from the Midlands in the UK and remind me of everything I loved about mid 90’s MTV. The heavy drums, messy guitar riffs, distinctly English moany vocals and just a small sparkle of glitter in the noise. Suede is the band the most springs to mind as a comparison.
‘Wilt’ is VIOLET’s new single which was released on Friday. They have live gigs across the UK in May and hopefully, this will be a foreshadowing to an EP or LP coming in the future soon. Definitely, ones to watch. Enjoy ‘Wilt’ below.
