Why does so much good rock come from Brighton? Clearly UK seaside towns breed angsty misery (and I live in Essex and there are a few dodgy ones here too). Projector channel this perfectly as the trio pick out all the best parts of early 90’s bands like Veruca Salt, Throwing Muses and a female-fronted Stone Temple Pilots. They mash grungy choruses with rousing vocals and their new single shows off all their talent.
‘Superstar’ is grunge-pop at its finest. By that I mean its catchy as hell but all about the guitars and feeling. It follows from their earlier single ‘Go Ahead’ from April. Here’s hoping to an EP or LP in 2020. In the meantime, both singles are out now and you can enjoy the video for ‘Superstar’ below.

“…pick out all the best parts of early 90’s bands like Veruca Salt, Throwing Muses and a female-fronted Stone Temple Pilots.” I absolutely have to check out a band that can do that. 🙂
Hahaha! I hope you enjoy!
