Dijf Sanders returns from Nepal with a new sound for ‘Puja’

Nepalese electronic fusion for the dancefloor and the mind

Dijf Sanders released one of the most interesting and engrossing albums in 2018 with ‘Java’. Based on the Indonesian island, he had plenty of inspiration to go on mixing traditional instruments and beats together. ‘Puja’ is his new album, scheduled for release on the 14th February. This time, Dijf travelled to Nepal for another musical journey. Taking in the culture and music of the area and fusing it with beats, saxophone and sitar – it sounds like we have another crazy fusion on our hands.

‘Ravana’ is the new single from the forthcoming album ‘Puja’. It feels like a mystical trance and a fusion of Tibetan, Chinese, Indian and of course Nepalese sounds. It has really whet my appetite for more and you can enjoy the single below.
