Introducing… Bokito

Genre mashing indie poppers

Bokito are an excellent blend of indie rock, electronica and fun beats. There is a little similarity to Alt-J in the way how their latest single ‘OKOK’ is put together. There is the funky indie pop drums, pointed vocals and jangly guitars. This then transforms into something more electronic as other synths swim in including huge a huge bass. There’s a hint of 80’s new romantic hidden there buts buried deep.

‘OKOK’ is about pushing people away according to Bokito but the song itself should draw in plenty of new listeners and fans. It is the latest in a spate of singles and is out now. Enjoy the track below – I’m sure there is plenty to come.
