Introducing… Sleepwoka

Night time thoughts of regret to dance to

Sleepwoka has been spending 2020 writing, producing and performing music out of his bedroom. Like many musicians, the pandemic has made us think about how we can tackle music and inspiration in a time of crisis. This has led to Sleepwoka’s new single ‘How I Was Wrong’. Its a look into the thought that younger people often live as if their best years are yet to come and often let life drift by. The music itself is a merger of chill-jazzy pianos and electronic beats and synths that have come out the 80s. It isn’t my usual jam, to be honest, but I really like the cross over of different influences and that turned my ear to it.

Enjoy ‘How I Was Wrong’ below. No news yet on a future LP or EP but as he’s been busy, I’m sure ones coming soon!
