On the week of Halloween its great to have a dramatic darkwave rock band to be releasing something demonic for us to spook to. ‘Demons’ is the new single from The Nursery. Formed by singer-songwriter/video artist Alex Pulec, The Nursery is an alternative rock trio creating songs about youth, fear, rebellion, obsession, desire and alienation. So far, so very 2020 then! I really like the mixture of rock, beats, synths and theatrical vocals. It all crushes together to create something driving. Also – cheesy vocal effects for Satan is much apprecated this week.
