After I reviewed her 2019 release, MARBL is back in 2021 with a brand new single that is an acoustic ballad gem. I don’t often push out single posts about just a single song, so you know this one is special. MARBL marries up a soft and high register with an acoustic guitar, piano and lovely harmonium styled organ to make you cry. ‘It’s Always Our O’Clock Somewhere’ is a song written after a break up. MARBL said it was like ‘first aid for the heart’ which is a descriptor I’ll be stealing for future reference!
The music video is wonderfully shot too and was directed by Tomer Levi. Hopefully, this is the start of a new song cycle for a new EP or LP to come later in 2021. The Israeli singer-songwriter is on absolute top form so enjoy the piece below.
