Meg Webb is a rather talented musician! Meg grew up as a classically trained multi-instrumentalist learning violin, piano, harp, cello, synths, bass, flute, tenor guitar and a recently added marimba. Add to that her sassy and sarcastic vocal tone and you have someone who can go toe to toe with the best in the alt-pop and singer-songwriter field.
Currently, Meg Webb is releasing a few singles and I hope an EP or LP is in the works as her latest single ‘What’s the Logic’ is superb. Mixing up a lot of those instruments above, what starts out as a piano pop ballad ends up transforming into a lush electro-rock piece that then flips a bird back to it in classical style. There is some really clever production and songcraft here. Plus the light-up boots in the music video remind me of my toddler days. Enjoy ‘What’s the Logic’ below.
