Paul Feder makes synth-driven melodic electro-pop. He has plenty of music experience as he forms part of sitar electronica band Charcole Federation and synthpoppers Pico Fermi. His own solo work falls somewhere between the two but places his own downbeat and calm voice over the bright and rubbery synths. It isn’t usually a style that I gel with that often but Paul Feder reminds me of early Adam Feilding. I’m a huge fan of his work and I think that’s why I was drawn to Paul’s music too.
‘Lose My Mind’ is Paul Feder’s new single and comes with a half-time photography music video (shot at 60fps and then slowed down). It has a dreamlike quality that builds over time into a lovely track. The single is out now and I’m sure we’ll hear more from Paul in the future. To find out more about his work, including his other bands and projects visit his website. He has a varied Soundcloud playlist that includes a bit of everything. It’s great to find a musician with a varied and colourful musical background.
