Selfish Bodies are a female-led indie pop trio that creates a mixture of synthwave, indie pop and rock music. The synths are big, the drums are pounding and it’s the kind of music that Retrowave on Bandcamp would eat up. The trio say that music is a universal language and so they want to create anthems that are relatable and heartfelt.
Their new single ‘Bambi Legs’ is all about feeling insecure. ‘When you feel self-conscious often you feel lonely and isolated ‘explains Selfish Bodies. They say that because we are all feeling self-conscious at some point actually, we are all united in it together. For me, Bambi Legs is what we call people that can’t walk properly in high heels in Essex so this totally works here too.
Enjoy the striding synthwave of ‘Bambi Legs’ below, the single is out now. For more information on Selfish Bodies, visit their linktree for more details.
