Releasing their first song in four years, The Yacht Club wanted to document their return back to public life after the pandemic. The indie band, who dabble in math rock and then add a layer of emo on top, found reintegrating back into social situations really hammered their mental health. This saw The Yacht Club hold off on playing live shows and that time away has allowed the quartet to focus on new material. Now more comfy, the band has fallen back in love with music again and is ready to rock.
‘Stumbling’ is their new single and is all about this journey. This is paired with a cute music video showcasing some of their communities pets. Expect plenty of cat and dog pawesomeness whilst the tightly woven track noodles its way into your brain. Enjoy the track below. For more information on hopefully some new material, or to catch their 2019 album on a Pay What You Can price, follow The Yacht Club on Bandcamp.
