Alt-rock trio The Drive. have released their new single ‘living is easy.’ Aside from putting full stops on their band name and songs, they also enjoy delivering powerful reverb-drenched walls of dark angst. The trio hail from Cork, Ireland and say their new single is about being looked down upon and feeling dejected for things that are outside of your control such as where you live. This combines the murky lyrics and mood with the fuzzy guitars and thick bass lines to bring a sleazy downer to your parade. There are elements of serenity and calm although the chaos always returns.
The Drive. formed in 2018 and have built their reputation upon electric live shows across Ireland. As they straddle a few of the messier genres of rock, The Drive. has been compared to the likes of Deftones, Fontaines D.C., and IDLES.
Enjoy the single ‘living is easy.’ below, it is out now. For more information on all things The Drive. visit The Drive. website.
