My Brightest Diamond announces ‘Fight The Real Terror’ coming this September

Shara Nova aka My Brightest Diamond announced her new album ‘Fight The Real Terror’ is coming out on 13th September, with physical editions the week after. It has been a while outside of the standalone single ‘Black Sheep’ (not on the album) between music releases but Shara has been keeping busy on her Substack, updating everyone on her songwriting process.

Every album My Brightest Diamond releases has a distinct and different sound. Lead single ‘Have You Ever Seen An Angel’ is a dreamy, psychedelia-tinged track serving Shara’s softest vocal delivery on an even softer bed of guitar. “The song is a reckoning with death,” says Shara. “… a wondering about ghosts and departed ancestors and angels and whether they remain present with us.” There is something classic and classical about the piece and its anti-single nature is a bold statement. The music video features a night garden of flowers as Shara searches for spirits among them. The video is directed by Dwight Cassin and Andew Ondrejack.

Enjoy the beautiful song and hypnotic music video below – the single is out now. You can pre-order the album and follow My Brightest Diamond for more details, including behind-the-scenes blogs over on Substack.
