AJ Peacox has played in many bands over the years, such as Weatherbox, Sundressed, and Kit Major, but Glow And The Dark is his solo project. Previously a more band-like effort, his new single ‘Driveway Song’ is a short emo-punk hit, in and out in just over two minutes flat. The big guitar hooks, the cavalcade of drum snares that signal emotional plummets; it does so much in a short space of time. Anyone who enjoys punky, emo rock will delight in this slice of emotional damage. Speaking about the track, AJ said:
“There’s something universal about standing in the driveway watching someone pull away – Whether it’s the start of something or the end, the feeling is the same.”
‘Driveway Song’ is out now. For more information about Glow And The Dark, follow him on Instagram.
