Legendary psych-folk singer-songwriter Linda Perhacs has been reported as missing. Laurel Stearns, her former manager, has posted on Linda’s social media accounts asking for verified information to confirm if she is ok. The statement reads:
Linda Perhacs fans, we need your help. Linda has gone missing.
Legendary singer-songwriter Linda Perhacs was discharged from a residential care facility approximately eight months ago under the supervision of her legal guardian. Since then, friends and longtime collaborators have been unable to reach her and repeated attempts to contact her guardian have reportedly gone unanswered.

Linda Perhacs turns 83 in September and released her third album ‘I’m A Harmony’ in 2017. This photo was taken in 2021. Linda lives in California, hailing from Topanga Canyon. It is unclear if her residential care home was also in California, but Reseda Ranch was her home studio in California up until that point. Our thoughts are with Linda and her closest friends and family in hopes of positive news.
