Miss Kenichi was introduced to me by a fan of the site whom read the review of My Brightest Diamond’s latest album and thought I’d like Miss Kenichi. She was not wrong!
Miss Kenichi is similar in tone and context with lush guitars, beautiful vocals and a sound drenched in emotion, energy and passion. The video below from an upcoming album released next month and is called “Who Are You”. It’s an curious video that draws you in along with its rolling Laura Veirs-esque twang rock style. It’s a lovely track that improves upon each listen. We will be reviewing the album later in the year.
