Introducing… Cornelia

Cornelia is a UK based singer/songwriter whose electronica edge and sassy/sexy vocals have absolutely won me over. She sings in a slightly childlike manner, in the pitch of Kate Bush at times, but her electronic tracks have a great artistic quality to them. The drums flick off beat. The synths warp in and out of time and tune. The whole effect of each track I’ve heard so far is mesmorising and I genuinely feel like I’ve uncovered a new star of the future.

Here the latest track “Trust” below – the album Balun is out in June and there’s a really neat audio poster version where you press different parts of the poster to play tracks and change the volume! I can’t wait.
