Sea Moya are wonderfully abstract. The trio from Germany are an absolute cluster of genres and influences and this shows through their work. Their beats take me off to some Afro-Caribbean roots in places but they mix some strange electronica and pop from hazy productions like Flying Lotus. Their lead single released earlier this year is “Twins” and has some beautiful pitch bending going on throughout. It reminds me of recent Caribou in many ways.
