Canadian born but Berlin based Benedikt has quite possibly been my most exciting new artist so far in 2016. His elliptical, haunting wishing well to hell track “Vikings” is like a warped endless circle of chords that descend downwards. It’s quite minimal and abstract but has completely captivated me. His début EP “Soma” is due in April – I’ll be there!
