Grog (Lisee) takes me back to an era in the mid 90’s when women who rocked could turn up and smash a power pop anthem out whilst causing carnage to everything they touch. Her debut single “In Plain Sight” showcases a deceptively simple track that will get in your head quickly and some cute yet pointed lyrics that made me smile.
The British lady is usually part of rock band Die So Fluid but said she found herself in such a creative period that she needed to express some different sounds that didn’t belong in that setting.
