C Duncan was one of my 2015 discoveries and he made my top albums list happily. His calm wispy vocals and subtle layers of acoustic guitar and synths all build up in his bedroom made the Scot a real force to be reckoned with. He is back with a second album only 18 months after his first. “The Midnight Sun” comes out in October and the first track “Wanted To Want It Too” shows that musically things have shifted to a more synth psychedelic tone. It’s still beautiful and entrancing and I am looking forward to hopefully another stellar album!
