Introducing… Clustersun

Throwing me immediately back to the noise smashed ethereal guitar wall of sound that a lot of early 4AD label bands had, Clustersun is a demonstration in how warped noise rock can be. This is because of how separated out the vocal is from the music. It’s almost like the band are playing two different songs at the same time although the rousing choruses unite them beautifully. It creates an uneasiness around their sound which keeps you on your toes for each power chord.

“Raw Nerve” comes from their second album “Surfacing to Breathe” and is out 19th May. I’ll get my huge hair ready for the big day!
