Possibly the most American country sounding vocal to come out of Kent in the UK, Steve Hewitt’s folk music straddles a few genres to make it easy to classify as folk, but more difficult to sub categorise it. There’s a hint of country and American blues there, but there are also some darker themes running underneath. Alongside his beautiful deep voice is his amazing finger work on the guitar, making effortlessly complex riffs flow into your ears like musical kisses.
