Hailing from Vienna, indie pop-rock band At Pavillon mix up chunky guitar riffs with dance floor electronica synths. They remind me of Fenech Soler but more towards the rock side of things than dance. There is also a strong splash of 80’s new romantics about the Austrian band which comes not only from the synths but the deep voice of their lead singer. The single, “Stop This War”, is in support of their current tour across Austria and neighbouring countries that will hopefully see them gearing up for a full-length or EP release towards the end of the year (fingers crossed) as it is their second single this year.
