Introducing… Go March

Go March
Go March

Reminding me of what would happy if Kraftwerk were rockers and not purely a synth sound machine, Go March’s new single from the forthcoming second album “II” is a nine-minute psyche-rock loop fest. The Belgium based trio lean a little of the math rock side of things, reminding me also of Battles, but here things are straightforward. It’s Sci-Fi. It’s huge drums, huge synth loops, chugging guitars and a flickering neon steampunk sign luring you in. The music video for single “Chop Chop” takes those words literally, merging frames of motion of the trio’s heads into a quick edit swap shop of movement that really works with the music. Synesthesia anyone? It reminds me of a lost track from the game Rez!

“Chop Chop” is available now as a single, but the album itself is coming 28th September,  and is a follow up to their 2015 debut. Enjoy the superb journey of the track below – its got the beat to Go March to! (Sorry… not sorry!)
