Peluché are a London based trio that calls their music “trip jam”. For me, their new single “Figure Me Out” from their debut album “Unforgettable” shows off trip jam in a great way. There’s plenty of smooth bass grooves, trickle happy rhythms and the riffs and melodies feel slightly improvisational but they all work together really well. It’s like someone took free-form jazz and structured it properly and added a London beat to it! It took me a few listens before I was sold but now I’m really enjoying what Peluché have to offer.
