Brudini’s new single ‘Reflections’ is quite difficult to pigeon hole. The acoustic guitar folk rock initially kicks off the track with haunting strings but soon give way to alien synths in other parts. Elsewhere a cinematic panorama constantly evolves behind the main groove and then takes centre stage in the final sections of the track. Brudini’s voice is utterly captivating too. It feels lonely and disembodied as the warped noises pan around him. It’s one of the strongest new tracks I’ve heard from a new artist this year and I can’t wait to hear more.
