Introducing… Vision Video

Your 80's New Wave revival is strong with this vision

Athens based post-punk band Vision Video have just released their new single ‘In My Skin’ and anyone who is need for some Joy Division or The Cure will find themselves right at home here. Vision Video combine this style of 80’s new wave with a pinch of early 2000’s emo and then pop a VHS filter on their sound and visuals. I really like the vocals of Dusty Gannon who sounds like he was born to sing for this type of music. His voice is shouty but operatic at the same time like many greats in the genre.

‘In My Skin’ and its excellent b-side ‘Inked in Red’ are out now as a digital single with their debut album expected out later this year. I recommend diving over to their Bandcamp page for more information and to keep up to date. In the meantime, enjoy the track below. Goth pop is alive and well.
