Breezy Americana is what Into It. Over It. creates with their new single ‘Living Up To Let You Down’. Into It. Over It. is the namesake for Evan Thomas Weiss who is releasing his fourth album ‘Figure’ on the 18th of September. He creates a Western tinged indie rock that flits between acoustic rock and something more chunky whilst staying firmly whimsical throughout.
That whimsical nostalgia is exactly what the single and the album are about. Into It. Over It. said that the album is about making peace with poor decisions that he has made over the years and learning to cope with his lot as he moves forward. Personally, this is a big topic for me as the editor and creator on Higher Plain Music and other projects as there are only 24 hours in the day and I can’t make the impact I want to with every action I take no matter how decisively I’ve made it.
