With their debut album ‘Get Well Soon’ coming out on the 14th of August, Only Sibling have released their second single ‘Native’. Their music video shows them imitating their influences and soundalikes which include Wheezer. In a tongue in cheek manner, Only Sibling are seen diving onto Google typing ‘How to be Rivers Cuomo’ – the lead of Wheezer. Everything about the band screams late 90’s emo, rock, shoegaze and light grunge and you know I love that vibe.
Enjoy the video to the quickfire single ‘Native’ below. It has been a long since their debut EP in 2016 and so the album marks something of an official hello for the NYC-based quartet. Let’s hope it is as strong as this track and makes a splash when it arrives next month.
