Over the course of 2021, I’ve been releasing a track a month as part of an experimental music series. In December 2020 on Twitter I asked “how do you feel about 2021?” and I used the range of replies and DM’s as titles for working tracks across the year. The result is a very random and largely improvised collection of piano, synth, ambient and percussive pieces. It was a really interesting project to work on across the year and I set myself the target of not thinking too much about what comes – just letting it jam and flow instead. As a result, the tracks aren’t beat and note-perfect but there’s a certain ramshackle quality to it all that I quite like.
You can listen to the entire collection on Bandcamp and purchase it or individual tracks if you’d like. The tracks should come to Spotify early in 2022 too. Patreon supporters get all releases as they release as standard at any tier.
