Following on from 2015 debut, Casually Here releases “Pale Blue Dot” – the lead single from his forthcoming album “Possible Worlds”. Fans of artists like Hiatus, Jon Hopkins, LTO and Bibio will feel right at home. The single is full of choppy beats, soft melodic piano, hazy ambient synths and gurgling vocals. The song references Voyager 2’s iconic photo of Earth and the album explores themes of acoustic and electronic working side by side. In a world where the human and the AI are working closer and closer, Casually Here wanted to explore the theme sonically too. Working with human and AI-generated patterns and instrumentation – it is tricky to know where one ends and one begins.
The beautiful sounds of “Pale Blue Dot” are available to enjoy below – the single is out now. The album “Possible Worlds” is currently scheduled for release on April Fools Day 2022. You can follow Casually Here on your preferred platform by having a look at his website.
