coldwave dream pop ethereal Introducing... rock shoegaze synthwave

Introducing… Laurence-Anne

A French chanteuse bringing her ethereal vocals to coldwave anthems.

If you enjoyed the laid-back side of the Cocteau Twins but wanted a splash of dream pop in the mix too, then welcome to Laurence-Anne. The Montreal-based artist straddles all this and often moves into a coldwave style too. Her French vocals have an ethereal siren edge that soothes as it hurts and the music has enough rock grunt to give it a bite.

Whilst Laurence-Anne has released a lot of music around Canada and the US, she is now targeting the UK and will be performing across many UK festivals this year. In the meantime, her new single ‘Polymorphe’ is out now. It is perfectly pitched for a teenage Netflix tv show montage as it deftly balances sadness and beauty.

Enjoy the music video for ‘Polymorphe’ below, the single is out now. Laurence-Anne will be touring Liverpool, London and Wrexham in the coming weeks.
