‘Halfway to Everywhere’ is the title track from the forthcoming debut album by The Parachute Testers. The Irish-based group mix anthemic rock with soaring female vocals. Think a mixture of Elbow, This Is The Kit, Paper Aeroplanes, and perhaps Mazzy Star. The band’s previous singles have been slower, more ephemeral, with a sprinkle of Irish folktronica charm in the melodies. ‘Halfway to Everywhere’ is a true “made for radio” anthem – big chords, powerful vocals, and a rousing finale.
