Live Vault – Mose’s 3-hour set in Brazil to tease upcoming album

It’s a bank holiday heatwave in the UK, and what better way to celebrate than with a nearly 3-hour set from world electronic artist Mose. Taken from a live set in Florianópolis, Brazil, it covers many Brazilian songs from across Mose’s career to date. With live vocals and a mixture of sampled and live instrumentation, it’s a wonderful fusion of chill-out music with a South American flavour. It plays out like a mega mix, often seamlessly transitioning from one track to another. The event itself looks stunning. I’ve got to get myself to one of these!

The opening track ‘Sita Ram’ was released as a studio single on Friday to support the release, having been an opening setpiece track for the last Mose tour. It features Franko Heke and a Nigerian choir on vocals and is available to buy on Bandcamp. It’s also the lead single for the forthcoming album titled ‘Reverence’. No release date has been announced yet, but Mose is active on Bandcamp, so you can follow there for more updates.
