London based The Slow Revolt (aka Joe Mirza) is a bit of a genre masher which is a tried and tested way to keep my ears well and truly entertained. His mix of beats, gossamer electronica and guitars mean that he can rearrange himself into completely different moods at the drop of a hat. His latest release Sketches comes out next month and the new single Stitched Hearts is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me a little of Imogen Heap’s quieter tracks but it’s full of juicy and hazy days – a polar opposite to the previous single.
