Laura Carbone is a Berlin based rocker with a sultry voice, a penchant for guitar feedback and riffs that kick. She cites her new album’s influences as being early PJ Harvey, and that can only be a good thing for me. You can hear the nuances of Harvey’s early work in lead single “Cellophane Skin” but this is most definitely all about Laura Carbone.
