I have long been a Lisa Gerrard fan and Stefano Guzzetti appeared on my radar over on Bandcamp a while back. I had no idea that they had created a track together. It’s a slow dirge of strings and Lisa’s iconic voice cutting through in a ceremonious way. It showcases more of Lisa’s lower register as the strings swell, which is a nice and unusual touch.
The track, called “Illuminate” can be enjoyed below and is taken from the album “Escape”, due out later this year from Stefano.
