Synth pop duo A Million Machines come from L.A. and have definite nods to Depeche Mode but have that seedy edge to it that I absolutely adore about Soft Cell. Everything feels tainted and a bit like you need to have a wash afterwards, but the tracks are catchy and like a more structured version of Fischerspooner. Their new single “Come Tonight” has a music video coming out later this month, and comes from their self titled album that’s being released in November.

Definitely has some Depeche Mode. Also some other classic electronic nods. I hear the Human League too.
