As someone who’s long been a fan of what Adam Fielding does for musicians by opening up his creative process by showing composition live streams and creating music samples for others to use, it’s great to see him gearing up for a new album launch. Mesmera, due out on 8th August, see’s the electronic composer take on an ambient sci-fi tinged downtempo collection of music. Expect ethereal vocal samples, epic sweeping synth pads, twinkling keyboard motifs and rich, warm and thick percussion that will take you on a journey to the stars and beyond.
The single “You Have To Let Go” encompasses all of the moods described above across a sumptuous 8-minute odyssey. You can stream is below and the album, Mesmera, is available to pre-order on Bandcamp.
