Scotland has been ripe with some superb alternative singer/songwriter talents in the last few years and Katherine Aly is the latest to join the roster. Her new single mixes harp, synths, drum machines and a hazy vocal. It is a grungier tone compared to Florence + The Machine but its hitting a different mark. The dreamlike coil ‘Misty Me’ brings is a real grower as it buries deep.
‘Misty Me’ is released today. Enjoy the mystical single below. Lets hope an EP or LP in a similar vein is in the works!
