This Is The Kit returning with new album and single

British folk star This Is The Kit is returning with a new album entitled ‘Off Off On’ and its coming out on October 23rd. The banjo touting singer/songwriter has returned with brand new single ‘This is What You Did’ and it mixes together elements from all of previous albums. I don’t hear of many artists that take some of the deep rooted folk instruments like banjos and placing them front and centre in a more rockier setting.

The music video for the single features Kate Stables, the front lady of This Is The Kit, placed into different types of camera films like a zoetrope. Its good fun and suits the chaotic rootsy feel of the track. I’m very excited for the album and it is also available to pre-order.
