Live Vault – Ultraista

Smooth electronica psychedelia in the studio

With live music barely returning in any concert form at all, I’ve been trying to find recent radio or home performances of some of my favourite musicians to keep us all in touch with the power of live performance. This weekend is Ultraista. The electronica trio released their second album ‘Sister’ earlier this year (which I loved) and this live performance is part of the promo for it. It is incredibly difficult to perform heavily produced electronica live but Laura, Joey and Nigel are all in their elements – in particular Joey who rivals Matt Chamberlain on the drums with ease.

Enjoy this superb performance below. Also – shout out to Laura who is busy singing chopped up versions of her own vocals as if she sung them straight.
