I was hoping to see Douglas Dare this year as he was to tour his ‘Milkteeth’ album released right at the start of 2020. Doesn’t that seem such a long time ago?! ‘Milkteeth’ was a much more stripped back album and that meant a stripped back tour too. Just Dare, his piano and his keyboard were on the road. The album didn’t quite hit the same marks for me as his other works but has continued to grow on me over time.
This short video contains a piano and vocal version of ‘Swim’ and ‘Red Arrows’ and makes me desperate to see him even more. Enjoy the performance below.
