Aidan Belo is His His, an indie folk singer songwriter from Toronto. He uses stripped back acoustic guitar melodies and pairs it with his smooth and hushed voice. His His describes his music as ‘Saudade’ – which is a Portuguese word that means ‘a feeling of longing and melancholy’. Sounds like a word you’d get from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, but this is a real word.
‘Winter Journal’ is His His’ second single and was released earlier this year. It is a perfect slice of indie folk and works perfectly. Enjoy the track below. Hopefully an EP or LP will follow later this year.
