Introducing… Ghost Twin

Raves for the witching hour.

Ghost Twin are a gothic synthpop duo from Winnipeg who mash together dark industrial synth pop with baroque vocals. I adore the way how on one hand you have a dirty, driving aggressive and pulsating electronica and its mashed with a angelic siren female voice. It reminds me of how Qntal do something similar but with more of a pagan-folk twist to their electronica. Instead, Ghost Twin have been inspired by French House music.

‘Pet Ceremony’ is their new single, inspired by the thought of their dog passing away. It is taken from Ghost Twin’s forthcoming album ‘Love Songs for End Times’. The album is due out on the 4th of June and you can enjoy the single below. Previous tracks have had more of a grungy smear to their beats so I’m intrigued to see if this single signals a shift in tone from haunted to haunting. All will be revealed soon!
