French post-rockers Bruit ≤ have released a live video of their track “Industry” that is absolutely fab. The rockers buck the trend of being all guitars and noise by including a cello as part of their set up and it suits the dramatic mood perfectly. Their debut album ‘The Machine Is Burning And Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again’ was released last year but is being released on vinyl for the first time on the 22nd of April. The video is to celebrate this.
Bruit ≤ has a really interesting background though. They were formed from a collective of various French pop groups in 2016 and I couldn’t think of a more opposite genesis for a post-rock band if I tried! They are passionate about the Earth and our environment and their album include various audio snips of world leaders, moments of folktronica, neoclassical rock and even a moment of jazz. When they aren’t making music, they are researching climate change to inform themselves about what the best solutions are right now and championing them.
BBruit ≤ are on tour in France currently and you can follow them and their activism on Facebook.
